非選句型講義: Unit2 知覺動詞

see/hear/watch … + O + V/V-ing   看到／聽到／觀看……

【說明】感官動詞接受詞時，受詞之後可用原形動詞或V-ing的形式。原形動詞通常為陳述完整事件，V-ing通常指當時正在進行的動作。

【例句】1. James heard somebody call out his name, but when he turned around there was no one there.

詹姆士聽到有人大叫他的名字，但是當他回頭一看卻沒有人。

2. I saw Alex opening Betsy’s pencil case, but I don’t know if he took anything from it.

我看到艾力克斯打開貝西的鉛筆盒，但是我不知道他有沒有拿裡面的東西。

【練習】(1) 看我爸媽下棋很有趣。

It is interesting to _watch_ my parents _play_ chess.

(2) 小男孩在公園看到蝴蝶在花叢裡飛來飛去，覺得很好奇。

The little boy was very curious to _see_ butterflies _flying_ around the flowers in the park.

feel + adj.     感覺……的

feel like + N   感覺像是……

【說明】feel 接形容詞時，當作補語用。也可和 like（像）連用，後接名詞。

【例句】1. John felt cold when he walked into the house.

約翰走進那間房子時感到一陣寒意。

2. The cloth feels like silk. It is so smooth.

這塊布摸起來像絲一樣。它是如此光滑。

【練習】(1) 古典音樂讓瑪麗感到平靜。

Classical music makes Mary feel  calm .

(2) 湯姆說他覺得自己像個傻瓜。

Tom said he felt  like  a  fool .
